About this role
Easpring Finland is developing a battery materials plant in Kotka, to respond to the rising demand for battery materials in Europe. The plant will produce cathode active material, which is needed to manufacture batteries for electric vehicles. As an HR Specialist, you will support a variety of HR functions including employee lifecycle, employee communications, and HR administration. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build and support a career in HR.
Responsibilities
- Handle HR day-to-day operations of employee lifecycle in co-operation with the HR Team
- Responsible for outsourced payroll operations and benefit management
- Facilitate communication with employees to ensure smooth information flow across departments.
- Assist the HR Manager in policy development, hiring processes, and salary administration
- Organize and support employee engagement events
- Working with co-operation processes and unions
- Responding to ad-hoc situations in appropriate manner
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree or higher in Business or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR role preferably in a factory running context
- Proficiency in both Finnish and English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and address employee inquiries
- Familiarity with HR applications and database systems
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in industrial setting
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Discretion, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy
