We are seeking a Global Category Manager for the fabrications and equipment category to join the Procurement team in the Metso Aggregates Business Area.

As a Global Category Manager, you will have the responsibility for the procurement and supplier management of our fabrications and equipment category globally within the Aggregates business area. You also lead the fabrications and equipment category team globally within the business area, directly or in a matrix.

You will be responsible for global vendors for the fabrication and equipment within the Aggregates business area. You will also lead sourcing category strategy development, deployment, and supplier management to deliver maximized total cost of ownership savings and to secure competitiveness within the category.

You will maintain and improve supplier relationships and be responsible for suppliers' quality and delivery performance. You will manage existing suppliers and their contracts and negotiate new contracts when needed.

You will ensure compliance with our procurement policies and develop procurement's performance. You will work closely with category responsible persons in our supply chain, engineering, product management, R&D, and Global Procurement teams within Metso.

This role requires travelling 10-40% of the work schedule. Position location is in Tampere.
