Ankerias Oy is a Finnish healthtech startup focused on improving the treatment and management of chronic neuropathic pain. Chronic pain affects millions of people, yet identifying the right treatment remains challenging for clinicians and patients. At Ankerias, we are developing new digital and AI-driven approaches to support better patient identification, treatment pathways, and outcomes.
We work closely with clinicians, researchers, and healthcare providers to bring new solutions into real-world healthcare.
We are now looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to take ownership of large parts of our platform and help shape its technical future.
Responsibilities
- You will take a key role in developing and evolving our technology, working directly with the CTO and founding team. The platform spans web and mobile environments, with a consistent TypeScript stack across all products. You will be a key engineer across the platform, contributing to architecture decisions, new features, reliability, and the path toward CE-marked medical software. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role in a small founding team. Impact is immediate.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and develop production products across web and mobile
- Work closely with the CTO on architecture and technical direction
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the platform
- Support integration of AI-driven features, including a patient selection model currently in development
- Help build the foundation for regulated, CE-marked medical software
- Tech StackReact 19 + TypeScript (web)
- React Native + Expo + TypeScript (mobile)
- Google Cloud (Firebase: Firestore, Auth, Functions, Hosting, FCM)
- EAS (Expo Application Services) for mobile builds
