We are now looking for a Category Manager to join our IT Procurement team.

In this job you will help shape Elisa's evolving, category-driven procurement model. You'll have real ownership to develop and implement category plans with stakeholders, turning market insight into practical actions that deliver long-term value.
What you'll be working on:
Own the long-term commercial performance and structure of your own IT categories, ensuring procurement maximizes value, resilience and competitiveness
Develop and implement category plans with key stakeholders (category strategy and roadmap, sourcing models, supplier segmentation)
Analyze markets, trends and innovations, and translate insight into sourcing actions
Execute strategic procurement initiatives with key stakeholders, embedding category plans into sourcing decisions and pipelines
Drive competitive tendering and RFx processes end-to-end, in line with the category strategy
Draft, prepare and negotiate contracts, and lead contract renewals
Support other procurement and development projects across the IT scope when needed
Lead strategic vendor management relationship (with the business)
Most of the team is based in Helsinki, meeting up onsite a few days a week, but working from elsewhere in Finland is also possible.
What helps you succeed in this role
Experience in IT category management, strategic IT sourcing or commercial IT-related roles
Strong understanding of procurement and contract management
Interest in developing and continuously improving category management and ways of working in a growing, evolving environment
The ability to combine analytical thinking with collaboration and influence
