We're looking for an enthusiastic Senior Developer to help shape the future of digital growth in Sanoma's B2B Digital Growth Domain.
As a Senior Developer, you'll join Sanoma B2B's Software Engineering Competence and work in the Creative AI Team, where we modernize and build digital advertising products and services using modern front-end and back-end technologies. You'll be part of an agile team, building AI enhanced advertising material solutions and infrastructure development, work within cross-functional teams composed of professionals with complementary skills and shared goals, led by a Team Lead.
We drive and deliver digital advertising across all Sanoma media brands (e.g. Ilta-Sanomat, Helsingin Sanomat, Ruutu, Aamulehti, Supla ) using our tech stack. We also manage numerous integrations with advertising partners and data platforms to meet business-specific needs.
You'll collaborate closely with Digital Business, Ad Operations (Ad-Ops), Ad Manager, Data Science, Display & Video Adverting, and other Software Development Teams across Sanoma's Media Units.
Responsibilities
- You'll primarily focus on backend and API development and using modern AI tools, while also having the possibility to contribute towards front development and build new services within Creative AI.
Requirements
- Must-Haves: 8+ years of experience in software development
- Experience with C#, .NET stack, and Entity Framework
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including hosting and running applications on Azure (Container Apps, Azure Functions), Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Service Bus, API Management, App Configuration (feature flags), and Application Insights. Infrastructure-as-code experience using Bicep is a plus.
- Strong backend engineering experience, including APIs, databases, and sys
