Senior Software Architect, B2C Online Platform

We are looking for a Senior Software Architect to shape and evolve DNA's B2C online platform, powering eCommerce and self-service. The platform is evolving toward a more lean and clearly structured deployment architecture. This requires architectural decisions that actively reduce complexity while ensuring high availability, strong security, and safe independent deployments. The environment is built on a cloud-native microservice architecture, integrated with core DNA services.

We are strengthening in-house architectural ownership of this platform, making the role critical to the future of DNA's digital customer experience. You will combine architectural leadership with strong communication, taking clear architectural decisions when needed, ensuring they are understood, documented, and followed, while staying open to input and learning.

You will also contribute to DNA's shift toward AI-enabled engineering and agentic development, helping teams adopt agentic practices in a scalable and controlled way through shared guidance, repeatable workflows, and architectural guardrails. At the same time, you will ensure that production changes meet high standards for security, quality, and human oversight.

The position is located in Helsinki, but our flexible work concept allows you to work remotely from anywhere in Finland. To keep our team spirit strong, we enjoy getting together in person every now and then! We organize regular planning days in Helsinki and value the energy that comes from working side-by-side occasionally.

What you'll do Define and evolve the target architecture for a large-scale B2C online platform with a focus on scalability, reliability, maintainability, security, and cost efficiency in collaboration with enterprise architects.

Lead architectural work across online microservices and APIs, ensuring clear boundaries, consistent patterns, and a strong engineering baseline.
