About this role

Do you want to work with advanced structural mechanics analyses and play a key role in the development of Husqvarna’s products? We are now looking for an experienced CAE / Structural Analysis Engineer to join our Advanced CAE department within R&D in Huskvarna.

The development organization works across the entire value chain – from idea to launched product and market follow-up. The work is carried out in close cooperation with colleagues within R&D and other specialist functions, both locally and globally, as Husqvarna is an international group with operations worldwide.

About the role

As a CAE / Structural Analysis Engineer with a focus on structural mechanics, you will work with planning and execution of structural analyses throughout all phases of the product development process – from early concept studies to verification of finished products.

The role involves independent technical responsibility within projects, where you contribute analysis data, conclusions, and recommendations to design and project teams. You will also take part in method development and the implementation of new analysis and simulation methods to meet future needs.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and has a strong desire to continuously develop. You are driven by understanding how things work, want to deepen your knowledge in both new and existing methods, and have a genuine interest in structural mechanics, simulation, and Husqvarna’s products. You see learning as a natural part of your work and actively take responsibility for your own competence development.

In this role it is essential that you are communicative and able to present your results in a clear and structured way. You take responsibility for your deliveries and can handle parallel tasks in a project-intensive environment. At the same time, you have the solid experience working independently in technically complex projects and to contribute well-founded analyses and recommendations.
