Data Engineer

Are you an eager Data Engineer who wants to help turn data into business value? In this role at Stena Line, you will work within a business domain, where you design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and integrations that make data accessible, secure, and easy to use. You collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and translate business needs into scalable data solutions, balancing performance, cost, security, and long-term maintainability. You are hands-on with coding, testing, troubleshooting, and continuously improving data flows from source to destination. Some of your key responsibilities:

Create and optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval

Manage databases, including schema design, indexing, and performance optimization

Integrate data from different systems and APIs

Work with Big Data technologies

Monitor data pipelines and address issues promptly

Automate repetitive tasks using scripts or workflows
