Project Quality Engineer (PQE)

About this role

Responsibilities

• Customer QA (Quality Assurance) communication interface throughout project execution
• Creation, implementation and communication of Project QA plans and documentation to all stakeholders
• Support for on-site manufacturing activities for allocated projects, e.g. for cosmetic quality
• Control of non-conformities and customer claims
• Failure analyze of defects
• Collect, analyze & report quality performance data
• Participate in creating product specifications
• Previous experience in industrial quality assurance role

Requirements

• BSc /MSc degree in Optical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience in quality engineering and mass production manufacturing
• Experience in working in the customer interface and project environment
• Ablility to understand technical documentation, specifications & drawings
• Good English language skills (both spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Continuous improvement mindset
