Expert (digital innovation projects)
HAUS Finnish Institute of Public Management is a state-owned company that provides training and development services to the state administration. HAUS has extensive experience in global public sector reform and development projects, having been involved in over 50 international government projects for over 20 years.
We are now recruiting an Expert (digital innovation projects) to take a dual role in two strategically important EU-funded initiatives in Africa:
Project Manager for Africa-Europe Digital Innovation Bridge 2.0 (AEDIB 2.0)
Technical Lead for digital skills development programme for the youth and innovation incubation services in the Nigeria Digital Public Services and Talent Initiative
About the Africa-Europe Digital Innovation Bridge 2.0 project:
Africa-Europe Digital Innovation Bridge 2.0 (AEDIB 2.0) is a Team Europe Initiative funded by the European Union and several EU Member States, including the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. The Action strengthens digital entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystems, and Africa-Europe partnerships supporting the digital and green transition across Sub-Saharan Africa.
The project focuses on strengthening digital and innovation policy frameworks, building and connecting innovation ecosystems and support organizations, scaling innovative ventures while improving access to finance, and promoting inclusion, especially for women-led and green innovations. In the AEDIB 2.0 project, HAUS acts as an implementing partner, responsible in particular for innovation policy and implementation, innovation support mechanisms and building bridges between African and European investors
As the Finnish Project Manager, the expert will oversee Finland's involvement in the initiative, ensuring effective coordination and alignment with project goals.
