Job Overview:
The role will be based in our
Cadence Cork, Ireland Office
. Candidate will be a core leader & member of our Global IT Site support team. Candidate will be providing & owning support at multiple sites in multiple countries across the Europe region. Candidate will be working with other leaders across our global IT teams including but not limited to, our network, storage, INFOSEC, Desktop and PMO teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide technical oversight for IT infrastructure, platforms, and services, including servers, networks, endpoints, and enterprise applications.
Define and enforce technical standards, architectures, and best practices.
Review and approve system designs, changes, and implementations.
Lead, mentor, and manage IT engineers, administrators, and support staff.
Drive performance management, skill development, and succession planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT services.
Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
Drive automation and operational efficiency across IT services.
Manage delivery of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and budget.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
Track risks, dependencies, and deliverables, escalating issues as required.
Act as the technical point of contact for business and leadership stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and roadmaps.
Provide regular updates on service performance, risks, and improvements.
Ensure adherence to corporate security policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
Support audits, risk assessments, and security initiatives.
