Your mission
Hiab is looking for a Trainee, Supply Chain Excellence to join the Services Supply Chain Excellence & Technology team, which focuses on developing and supporting the Global Spare Parts and Accessories Distribution Process. As a Trainee, Supply Chain Excellence you will assist senior supply chain and system specialists with various tasks and projects in areas such as purchasing, warehousing, order management, transportation, and demand and inventory planning.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for the summer period located in Raisio, Finland.
Responsibilities
- Validation and uploading of supply chain related master data
- Monitor daily jobs and review reported bugs in automation solutions and analytics platform (Google BigQuery and Looker Studio)
- Perform ad hoc analytics
- Statistical analysis of supply chain process performance
- Fine-tuning planning models, forecasting parameters, or freight optimization solutions
- Building or configuring digital tools to automate or improve processes
- Create training material or update standard work documentation
- Process mining and mapping.
Requirements
- Ongoing University studies in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or other field relevant to supply chain management
- A can-do attitude and a proactive approach
- Knowledge of statistics and any other abilities related to analytics is highly regarded
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
