About the role
As a Data Engineer at Northmill Bank you will be part of the data lifecycle, focus on transforming/modeling the data to fit final business requirements and serving data for BI/reporting. You will be a part of the cross-functional Analytics team consisting of Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Analysts who serve the whole bank in terms of data for insights, predictive modeling, reporting and all other potential use cases.
Responsibilities
- Utilize DBT to model and transform data, ensuring it's clean, structured, and ready for analysis, reporting and other operational systems.
- Continuously monitor and optimize data flows to proactively drive us forward.
- Support data needs in relation to specific analytical tasks.
- Collaborate with product and product engineering teams to acquire and build data models for new business and products data modelling.
- Collaborate with the Platform team on building and maintaining ingestion pipeline, guarantee high quality data into Snowflake.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data engineering role
- Proficiency in SQL/Snowfla
