We are now looking for a Legal Trainee to co-create the future with us!
As a Legal Trainee at Futurice, you will have the exciting opportunity to support our legal team in providing expert advice, ensuring company compliance, and assisting in contract management within our innovative and collaborative culture. You will work together with our multidisciplinary teams, who come from 60 different nationalities.
The position is fixed-term and full-time until the end of August. The desired starting date is as soon as possible. This is a hybrid role that offers the best of both worlds: to keep our culture strong and collaboration seamless, we work together from the Helsinki office multiple days a week, with the remaining days being flexible for remote work. Please note that, unfortunately, we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities
- In this role, you will: Maintain and develop internal legal policies.
- Maintain contract archives, create and update legal templates, and support the development of our compliance framework.
- Update and maintain data protection documentation, such as privacy notices, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and records of processing activities.
- Prepare risk and compliance reviews for new AI tools.
- Draft, review, and comment on basic commercial contracts and legal documents under the guidance of our Legal Counsels.
- Explore and test AI capabilities in legal work to help streamline our internal processes.
