Job Description:

The client is seeking a highly experienced System Specialist / Technical Project Leader to support their Healthcare and Medical Technology (MT) Systems unit. This role is part of an ongoing initiative to establish a specialized team responsible for managing and supporting advanced medical technology systems, including laboratory, radiology, and dental systems.

Until permanent resources are fully onboarded, the client requires a consultant to provide hands-on technical and project leadership support. The role demands strong on-site presence in Luleå and active collaboration with cross-functional teams across IT and medical technology domains.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee incident handling and problem resolution, including advanced troubleshooting of complex IT systems
  • Coordinate and execute change management activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and system investigations to support decision-making
  • Plan, perform, and validate system testing, verification, and commissioning activities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including procedures, guidelines, and checklists
  • Lead technical projects and assignments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope
  • Manage system-related requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support administrative functions such as planning, tracking, and reporting of technical activities
  • Required Skills:
  • Strong expertise in managing and maintaining complex IT systems
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and case/incident management
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation and system architecture diagrams (system sketches)
  • Solid background in technical investigations and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with IT change management processes
  • Proven capability in technical project or assignment leadership
  • Strong planning, coordination, and control skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational
