Position description
As a Research Engineer, you will work within a large EU-funded research project (exceeding €50 million) involving nearly 40 academic and industrial partners. The project is conducted within the research environment of the Future Energy Center (FEC) and focuses on the electrification of aviation.
The role combines advanced technical analysis and modelling with close collaboration in international research and industrial environments. A significant part of the work will be carried out in cooperation with external partner organisations.
As a Research Engineer, your tasks will include:
Modelling and simulation of hybrid-electric aero-engine performance and environmental impact
Working with preliminary system design and mission analysis
Participating in and contributing to interdisciplinary and international project teams
Collaborating with academic and industrial partners at national and international level
