Responsibilities

  • Posting incoming invoices (incl. account assignment of invoices in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS)
  • Creating and posting intercompany invoices
  • Control of the invoice approver workflow to ensure compliance
  • Creating and executing payment runs
  • Booking banks
  • Support with month-end closing
  • Maintenance of open debtor items
  • Processing feedback from customers
  • Checking employee travel expense reports in accordance with company and legal requirements, as well as payment and posting
  • Processing and archiving general accounting correspondence
  • Relevant professional experience in accounting
  • Completed commercial education, a comparable qualification, or relevant professional experience

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office and modern IT systems
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Navision, Business Central)
  • Ability to work collaboratively, with a proactive approach and the capacity to quickly understand new topics
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills are required due to regular communication with stakeholders
