We are now looking for an Operative Purchaser to join our Group Procurement team. This is a fixed-term summer position for the period from April to the end of August.

As an Operative Purchaser

You will work in a specialist role supporting Lappset Group’s production and material management operations. You are responsible for material planning for selected suppliers, ensuring a smooth and efficient material flow to operations.

You execute material planning and procurement activities based on Production and Material Management triggers, valid supplier agreements and organizational guidelines. You maintain planning and procurement parameters in ERP in accordance with contracts, policies and strategy.

You manage service requests in CRM systems and act as a key contact person towards suppliers in operational matters. You actively follow up on KPIs and report to the organization.

Success in this role is measured by the handled volume and value of purchase requisitions, inventory turnover rate and other agreed KPIs.

We expect from you

Fluent Finnish and English skills, both spoken and written. Experience in global trade and procurement as well as project operations. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Good knowledge of Microsoft tools and experience with modern ERP systems. Experience with Freshdesk, Monday.com and freight companies’ booking applications supports your success in the role.
