Finnish Annotation Project (Remote)

OneForma is seeking Finnish-speaking contributors to participate in the Onyx OCR Annotation (Finnish) project. This remote project involves reviewing and annotating images that contain handwritten or printed Finnish text.

Participants will follow detailed guidelines to evaluate images, draw bounding boxes around text lines, accurately transcribe the text within each box, and apply specific annotation flags when required. The contributions collected in this project will support the development of AI systems designed to recognize and process Finnish handwriting.

Purpose:

This project aims to improve AI technologies that recognize, segment, and transcribe handwritten Finnish text by creating high-quality annotated datasets used to train machine learning models.
