Industrial Designer Trainee

About this role

Responsibilities

• Learn the product creation process and collaboration between designers, product managers, and engineers when creating new devices.
• Translate consumer needs and customer requirements into competitive, world-class product concepts.
• Design for mass production using state-of-the-art technology.
• Create products and experiences as part of an in-house design team.
• Work closely with R&D teams across Nokia.

Requirements

• Current studies in a Master's program in Industrial Design
• Proficient in 3D design software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
• Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Solid rendering skills (KeyShot, Blender)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• It would be nice if you also had:
• Experience with prototyping, workshop and 3D printing
• A self-starting attitude with strong learning agility, strategic thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information and projects responsibly
• A solid understanding of hardware and technology
