Plant Logistics Leader

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Plant Logistics Leader to join our Helsinki Vallila manufacturing site. In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for inbound receiving, picking and packing operations, and export shipping, as well as purchased rejected material management and the development of internal logistics processes.

You will act as a people leader for the logistics teams, ensuring the right capabilities, resourcing, and ways of working are in place to support production and customer needs in a regulated medical technology environment.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

The Plant logistics Leader owns the performance of the team and will resource the team to meet the quality requirements and customer expectations in regulated medical environment.

Following the customer demand patterns and balancing the resources accordingly is within the key responsibilities

The training and development of the team members and assuring good cross-training is essential

The Plant logistics Leader is responsible for the safety of the production area and has a strong focus for the continuous improvement of the area

System developments related to Export Shipping and Incoming processes.

Responsible for overall follow up for Dangerous Goods Regulations

Ensure Customs compliance requirements are met

Qualifications and experience

You have either Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. in logistics, technical or medical technology field) or a solid experience in similar position.

You have the passion to work as a team leader and develop the team and their production environment

Ability to work under pressure
