About the role
As a Lead NPI Engineer, you will lead research and development activities focused on control system design for STATCOM and SVC solutions. This role involves implementing innovative architectures and algorithms to meet demanding customer specifications, ensuring high-quality delivery of power electronic control systems within an innovative team.

Work tasks
This role focuses on leading the research and development of control solutions for large-scale power electronic systems, including design, simulation, testing, and documentation of advanced control architectures for FACTS devices.
Leading application control and protection design for FACTS devices.
Implementing innovative control system architectures and features for STATCOM and SVC systems.
Defining simulation environments and leading test automation design.
Conducting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
Specifying, designing, and documenting control architectures and solutions.
Conducting root-cause analysis for complex control issues.
Participating in technical negotiations with end customers and supporting tendering activities.
We are looking for
MSc or higher in Power/Control System Engineering or a related technical field.
Knowledge of control theory for grid-connected power electronic devices and compensation systems.
Proficiency with simulation tools such as PSCAD, Matlab Simulink, RTDS, or PSSE.
Experience in control and protection application design and analysis of dynamic behavior in FACTS devices.
