About this role

The Record-to-Report (R2R) Accounting Analyst plays a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting within a shared service centre environment. This role supports end-to-end R2R processes, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial analysis. The analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, business units, and external auditors to ensure the integrity of financial data and continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Accountabilities and duties of the position may change and develop over time as LLA is a dynamic and growing organization, but will include the following: Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies and deadlines.

Perform balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations with clear documentation and variance explanations.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and corporate accounting policies.

Maintain accurate documentation for audit purposes and support internal/external audit requests.

Identify control gaps and propose remediation action

Participate in standardization and optimization initiatives across the R2R process.

Leverage ERP tools and automation technologies (e.g., RPA, workflow tools) to improve efficiency.

Contribute to knowledge management, SOP updates, and best-practice sharing within the SSC.

Serve as a point of contact for business units regarding accounting inquiries.

Partner with FP&A, AP, AR, and other SSC teams to resolve issues and ensure data accuracy.

Build strong working relationships with global finance teams.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

Accounting Experience (experience in Public Accounting preferred) Shared Service or related field.
