Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service and technical solutions for the mining and construction industries.

We are now looking for an entry-level Legal Counsel. In this position you will get an opportunity to become a member of dynamic and highly professional Legal and Compliance in-house team with a passion to provide high quality services. We are offering interesting legal tasks and challenges to continue professional development. The role is permanent and location is preferably Turku or Tampere.

Your responsibilities

Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and corporate documentation, including NDAs, POAs, meeting minutes, and sales, framework, sourcing and distribution agreements.

Prepare and maintain legal templates, presentations, tools and documentation, and deliver legal trainings to strengthen legal processes across the organization.

Support and handle legal and compliance projects and manage disputes.

Address matters related to corporate governance, data privacy, financing, competition law and technology/data-related legal issues, among others.

Your profile

Master of Laws (or equivalent).

Prior international exposure and experience in a law firm or in-house legal team is an advantage.

Proactive attitude and ability to take initiatives.

Good interpersonal skills, collaborative, detailed-oriented and quick learner.

Fluent in Finnish and English.

Knowledge of additional languages (Swedish, German, Spanish, French) is an advantage.
