About this role

Review and negotiate supplier contracts and ensure compliance with legal and risk standards. Drive commercial creativity in contract terms to deliver cost savings and flexibility, including performance-based incentives tied to supplier KPIs  Paralegal exposure and strong understanding of procurement related legal and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all contract dealings.   Develop and maintain contract frameworks, including Supplier MSAs, SOW templates, and standardised governance documents.  Manage contract terms throughout the full lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, variations and supporting competitive retenders.  Create and maintain tender/RFP documentation and frameworks to support consistency and compliance.  Embed performance based and ESG clauses in contracts to drive measurable supplier outcomes  Design, implement, and own the SRM framework, including templates, processes, review cadence, KPI structures, governance rhythm and supplier performance reporting.  Draft, maintain, and manage SRM schedules, including SLAs, KPIs, and performance scorecards.  Identify and escalate high risk contracts to Legal, following agreed escalation paths and ensuring clarity with budget holders. 

2+ years hands-on contract management experience, ideally within procurement, supply chain or commercial functions.  Paralegal exposure desirable  Good understanding of procurement related legal and regulatory requirements and ability to apply compliant practices.  Proven experience managing supplier relationships, including running performance reviews, issue logs, and negotiation support.  Strong negotiation capability, with experience securing favourable commercial outcomes.  Ability to identify and manage commercial risks, including KPIs, SLAs, dependencies, milestones and contract change control.   Confidence to build new processes from scratch, with a hands on approach and ability to create structure and automation.
