About the Assignment You will join an automotive development environment focused on steering gear software, with a strong emphasis on requirements towards suppliers. The assignment combines software engineering, requirement management, and quality work in a safety-critical context. You will contribute to updates and improvements linked to bug fixes, Pilot Assist Plus, and base technology deviations, while helping maintain high quality in the steering system architecture according to established development procedures. This is a role for you if you enjoy structured engineering work, close collaboration across interfaces, and a mix of technical detail and system-level responsibility. You will work in established product development processes, systems, and tools, where your ability to create clarity in requirements and documentation will be important. Job DescriptionCreate and update CarWeaver structures for steering gear software. Update SSDS and SDB based on changes related to bug fixes and Pilot Assist Plus. Handle software engineering activities connected to base tech deviations in alignment with the internal BT team. Define, review, and maintain supplier-facing software requirements. Support engineering documentation and requirement management for the steering system. Contribute to software quality assurance and continuous improvement of the architecture. Collaborate across project, supplier, and development interfaces to secure quality and compliance. RequirementsSeveral years of hands-on experience in software development. M.Sc. in Controls and Mechatronics, Electronical or Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent. Mandatory experience with CarWe
