About the Assignment You will work in an automotive powertrain environment with responsibility for the design and development of components such as catalysts and downpipes, heat shields, brackets, and cold-end parts. The role combines hands-on design work in Catia with coordination across documentation, simulation, suppliers, testing, and technical forums. You will own your component area from design updates to follow-up of builds and tests, helping ensure that drawings, technical documentation, and related systems reflect the latest design status. This is a good fit for you if you enjoy taking responsibility, driving technical questions forward, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and suppliers. Job DescriptionCreate and update component designs for catalysts, downpipes, heat shields, brackets, and cold-end parts in Catia V5. Maintain design data and technical documentation in relevant systems, including TC and GDL/SA3. Lead the simulations needed for your components and interpret results such as LCF, HCF, and CFD. Drive technical discussions with suppliers and follow up on design-related questions. Ensure documentation is accurate and that systems are updated with the latest design status. Present progress and technical status in Group Technical Meetings and other relevant forums. Follow up testing activities and physical builds to secure design quality and functionality. RequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Design experience within engines or powertrain.
