The team
At Axis, our teams work cross-functionally in projects to develop and deliver world class products! Your team is a new cross-functional team working on a new product. The team brings together firmware engineers with application developers building high-level functionality in collaboration with frontend developers and UX designers. The team consists of both junior and senior engineers working together in an open climate. We believe diverse perspectives are key to innovation. And one thing for sure; teamwork, collaboration and openness to each other's ideas are essential to everyone at Axis.
Many of our teams have Innovation days and Free Fridays where you can freely experiment your ideas. We trust our teams to decide on the best ways of working, the tools to use, and which ideas to explore - a level of freedom that truly empowers our developers.
Responsibilities
- You play an important role in the product development by writing well designed, efficient, scalable, readable and testable code in C. You take an early part in feature investigations and pre-studies, including collaborating on prototype code and evaluating using real world testing. Together with your team, you will be involved in setting the coding standards and ways of working for your team. In our projects we collaborate with different competence areas such as mechanics, electronics, industrial design and production technologies to name a few.
