Job Overview:
Our client Infosys is seeking an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer (L2/L3) to support and develop data and ETL platforms used across large enterprise environments. The role focuses on maintaining the stability and performance of core data processing services, resolving technical issues, and supporting continuous improvements across the platform. This is a fixed-term (approx. 6 months) full-time hybrid position based in Helsinki, Finland, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support and development for enterprise applications leveraging Informatica ETL workflows, PL/SQL data processing, and C++/Perl backend components
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Red Hat Linux 6/7 and Windows Server 2012 environments
- Perform hands-on operational work, incident analysis, and RCA
- Support automation, platform stability, and environment maintenance
- Integrate monitoring solutions with ticketing and notification tools
- Participate in 24×7 support operations and on-call rotation
- Maintain high customer orientation and quality awareness
- Qualifications and skills:
- 12+ years of experience in application support, enterprise application development, or data integration platforms
- Proficiency with PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter (ETL workflows, debugging, mapping development), Shell scripting, C++, Perl scripting
- Experience with Red Hat Linux 6/7 and Windows Server 2012
- Excellent verbal and written
