Sales Specialist- Collision Repair, 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Collison Customer Sales Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Lead sales efforts across all 3M brands/products into the collision repair segment of the US Automotive Aftermarket Division
Implement sales programs, plans and policies as agreed upon with direct supervisor
Determine priorities, frequencies, and call patterns to be most effective and productive
Support division and regional programs and initiatives
Create business plans for end users and solutions to everyday problems. Track all activities in 3M CRM tool.
Company Vehicle
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) with one (1) year sales and/or Automotive Aftermarket industry experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Current, Valid Driver’s license
OR
High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) with Five (5) years of experience within the Automotive/Collision industry in a private, public, government, or military environment
Current, Valid Driver’s license
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Financial acumen
Technical expertise in the Automotive and/or Collision industry
Relationship builder with a competitive nature
Well organized, self-starter
Time management
Experience with Salesforce.com or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
