Your Mission

As an Expert in Iconic Toys and Iconic Collections, you ensure high-quality, engaging auctions by evaluating and curating submitted lots. Your expertise directly shapes the relevance, fairness, and appeal of each auction, contributing to a transparent and trusted marketplace.

You play a key role in attracting both sellers and bidders by selecting compelling items, setting accurate expectations, and maintaining high standards across all listings.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate submitted items and curate auction lots that attract bidder interest

Create clear, accurate, and appealing lot listings using your subject-matter expertise

Assess lot titles, descriptions, and images to ensure quality and completeness

Provide fair and informed value estimates to support transparent transactions

Review and reject submissions professionally, maintaining a positive user experience

Collaborate with Sales to attract new sellers and expand the range of auction items

Partner with Marketing to increase visibility and engagement for your auctions

What You’ll Bring

Expert knowledge of Iconic Toys such as MOTU, My Little Pony, Goldrake, Playmobil, and Funko

Strong commercial awareness and an eye for value and desirability

Proven commercial experience in a relevant context

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Solid computer skills for managing listings and tools

An active network of sellers and experts within your domain

Ability to mediate disputes with diplomacy and professionalism

Good command of the English language

This is a 100% remote role based in Italy, France, Germany or the Netherlands.

Our Offices and Way of Working

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
