YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role to design, build and maintain machine learning models for all our business areas. You will work on problems where you will get to utilize your skills in such interrelated disciplines as machine learning, software engineering, data science, data engineering as well as prompt and AI/API engineering. In the end, you will drive and contribute to solutions of some of our key problems around vehicle availability, reliability & safety, user experience personalisation and parking. You will primarily be working in a team focused on predicting the future demand for our vehicles. Specifically where and when they will be needed. Further, you will have a big impact on anticipating and acting early on a vehicle’s maintenance needs, which plays a key role in the good user riding experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

As an embedded member of a cross-functional product team, you will be responsible for end-to-end machine learning and AI projects. This includes everything from identifying business problems and formulating solution hypotheses, to defining data requirements, prototyping, implementing solutions in production, and measuring their business impact.

Maintain and improve Voi's machine learning platform to ensure our machine learning products adhere to state-of-the-art MLOps standards, with support from the team

Work with colleagues to improve team processes and support mutual learning and knowledge sharing

Further, for the staff level the responsibilities will include:

Actively contribute to setting strategy and goals on the R&D level, utilising both your strategic lens on engineering and deep understanding of business priorities.

Drive architecture and system design across multiple teams, influence strategic engineering decisions and direction across R&D

Work closely with product leadership to influence product direction, and translate that into the right strategic techn
