Group Treasury Payments Lead Analyst
The Team provides operational support for Group Treasury payment activities, including Payment On Behalf Of the business (POBO) transactions.
As a Lead Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, resolving payment-related issues, supporting collaborators, and driving continuous process improvements. You will also act as a subject matter expert and mentor within the team.
In this role You will:
Complete and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly Group Treasury payment activities
Perform and review booking, clearing, and offsetting transactions in systems such as BlackLine and WSS
Provide support with activities such as End of Day cash concentration, FX, Trading, manual business funding and manual POBO (Payment On Behalf Of) transaction initiation, monitoring and query management related to these items
Ensure strong control and compliance over treasury payment processes
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for payment processes, including POBO transactions
Identify and drive process improvements, taking ownership from idea to implementation
Collaborate closely with business collaborators to ensure clear understanding of transactions and resolve queries efficiently
Act as a Super User on ERP systems – providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and training to team members
Support customer concern handling and ensure timely resolution of complex issues
Contribute to knowledge sharing and onboarding of junior team members
What You will need to be successful:
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business fields or equivalent previous experience and other qualifications combined could be taken into consideration
Relevant number of years of experience in Accounting, Cash and Banking or another transferrable field
Proficiency in English, other foreign language is an advantage
Experience supporting and implementing strategic plans across the organization.
Experience in continuous improvement tools and proactivity in driving issue resolution.
Ability to work with deadlines, under pressure with a track record of delivery.
Stakeholders-oriented thinking with proven case record.
