Your role and responsibilities

You act as Senior Project Manager in the Development Project Management Office (DPMO) and lead strategic digitalization projects throughout their whole lifecycle. You will be in a crucial role in driving digital transformation at Aalto, and your work will have a strong and meaningful impact.

You manage digitalization projects that can be related to various areas such as AI, data management, platform development, and process digitalization. These projects aim to develop our internal services, teaching and research processes, or societal impact. Many of the projects are high-risk and complex, and span across organizational boundaries including multiple business units and services.

In addition to project management, the DPMO is responsible for maintaining and developing project management practices at Aalto. As a Senior Project Manager, you will also contribute to the development of Aalto's project management practices, and coach and su
