If you want to help us make self-employment a little easier, Holvi is for you.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong id="docs-internal-guid-9dc08318-7fff-3862-d16e-073e4d5fd618">You'll be working within our Finance Team</strong></span></p><p><span>As Financial Controller, you’ll be working in our Finance team, making sure Holvi’s own finances run smoothly and effectively, and in line with regulatory requirements of a financial institution. We are in charge of all aspects of financial management of our company. We work in a hybrid model, and would like to see you in the Helsinki HQ on a weekly basis.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>A typical day could see you handling:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Support and perform accounting, business, and tax reporting related responsibilities</span></p></li><li><p><span>Treasury management including collections, disbursements, investment and funding activities.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Preparing and executing financial management tasks, such as reviewing balances, running reconciliations, investigating any differences or answering to procurement requests</span></p></li><li><p><span>Supporting other Finance Team members with their tasks and contributing to the overall development of the Holvi finance function</span></p></li></ul><p><span>The exact tasks included in the role will be agreed on depending on your skills and experience.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong id="docs-internal-guid-9dc08318-7fff-3862-d16e-073e4d5fd618">This is for you if you:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Are fluent in Finnish and English, German skills is a plus but not mandatory</span></p></li><li><p><span>Are a self-starter and willing to learn and develop</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have a degree in Finance, Finance management, or Accounting</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have solid understanding of the Finnish Accounting Standards, and willingness to learn what is required by the Financial Supervisory Authorities</span><strong id="docs-internal-guid-9dc08318-7fff-3862-d16e-073e4d5fd618"><br></strong></p></li></ul><p><span><strong id="docs-internal-guid-9dc08318-7fff-3862-d16e-073e4d5fd618">It's a plus if you:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Enjoy working across teams to ensure financial and regulatory requirements as well as business needs are addressed</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive to improve processes and have patience to handle things manually when needed</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have great technical skills</span></p></li><li><p><span>Have previous experience working in financial services and in a regulated environment</span></p></li></ul><p><strong id="docs-internal-guid-9dc08318-7fff-3862-d16e-073e4d5fd618"><br></strong><span><strong id="docs-internal-guid-9dc08318-7f
