Axis Ex AB is a small, ISO-certified production company producing explosion protected products for Axis Communications.

Your future team

Axis Ex AB is the production company for Axis explosion protected products. The products are globally certified for use in hazardous areas, complying with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 80079-34, IECEx scheme, ATEX and NRTL.

You will be part of a handful very competent colleagues. The Axis Ex team will grow as we introduce more products to the market. The first Axis produced explosion protected camera was launched in 2022 and there are several more products in our roadmap for the future. In less than a year we will also move to a brand-new facility that is about three times as big as today, presenting exciting new opportunities for Axis Ex!

We are 14 employees within Axis Ex AB today, and we work very closely with many more Axis Group colleagues. In this role you will work very closely with our Production and Quality teams at Axis Ex as well as many Engineering colleagues at Axis Communications.

What you'll do as Quality Engineer at Axis Ex AB?

We strive to produce high quality explosion protected products. Being a small company, we expect everyone to have a helpful and open-minded approach, take initiatives and support where needed.

These are the main areas we see included in the role, either as primary responsibility or as backup, depending on the candidate:

Supplier Quality Management & Development:

Define and maintain quality requirements for our suppliers, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and explosion protection standards.

Conduct risk-based supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions.

Manage incoming quality control for critical components, addressing non-conformances effectively.
