About the Role

Agilent Healthcare Diagnostics Group (HDx)

is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and self‑motivated individual to join our successful and dynamic Nordic team as an

HDx Account Manager

.

This position is based in

South Sweden

, and you will be an integral part of the broader Nordic Pathology & Genomics team. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden, sharing insights, strategy, and best practices.

As an HDx Account Manager, you will drive sales within the

clinical environment

, covering:

Cellular Pathology (Histology)

Digital Pathology (DP)

Genomics

Your focus will be to support end-to-end workflow solutions, supply instrumentation and reagents, grow market share, and strengthen relationships with key clinical customers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across Cellular
  • Pathology, Digital Pathology, and Genomics portfolios
  • , including capital equipment, reagents, consumables, software, and service offerings.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of clinical pathology workflows, including:
  • Histological staining, H&E, special stains, IHC, and ISH
  • Clinical genomics techniques such as array CGH and Next‑Generation Sequencing (NGS)
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in both existing and new accounts.
  • Work effectively with
  • Digital Pathology partners
  • to support customer needs and joint opportunities.
  • Manage leads and opportunities within CRM, ensuring accurate monthly sales forecasts and territory reporting.
  • Develop and execute a strategic
  • territory business plan
  • aligned with market potential and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing to support regional events such as seminars and workshops.
  • Conduct product presentations and instrument demonstrations, both independently and in partnership with Product Specialists (PS) and Field Application Scientists (FAS).
  • Capture and relay constructive customer feedback to internal teams to support ongoing product innovation.
  • Cultivate long-term customer relationships with key hospitals, reference centers, and strategic accounts.
  • Actively participate in regional forums and discussion groups.
  • Solve a broad range of complex issues using sound judgment and analytical thinking.

Requirements

  • BSc or higher
  • in Biology, Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field; alternatively, equivalent experience.
  • Experience within
  • clinical pathology and genomics
  • , or strong willingness to learn and develop genomics areas.
  • Preferably proven
  • sales experience
  • with pathology/genomics reagents and capital equipment within clinical environments.
  • Strong skills in project management, digital tools, and working with cross‑functional teams and business partners.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and self‑management skills.
  • Fluent Swedish
  • (written and spoken) and professional proficiency in English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to
  • 50%
  • of the time.
