Indirect Tax Compliance Manager.
This role will be mainly responsible for the indirect tax compliance activity in a number of countries across the EMEA region, working with other Indirect Tax Specialists, Senior EMEA Indirect Tax Manager as well as internal finance colleagues. Senior Indirect Tax Specialist / Indirect Tax Compliance Manager will be also actively engaged in many different projects related to Indirect Taxes including tax digitalization, systems transformation, e-invoicing etc.

What will you be doing?
Support the Senior EMEA Indirect Tax Manager with end‑to‑end indirect tax compliance, including preparation and submission of VAT returns using a VAT compliance tool
Manage day‑to‑day indirect tax compliance activities across multiple EMEA countries
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal finance teams and key stakeholders across the organisation
Prepare and present regular compliance reports and updates to the Cluster Controller and Senior EMEA Indirect Tax Manager
Support standardisation and improvement of indirect tax data gathering processes by working closely with data processing and delivery teams and monitoring ERP data flows
Contribute to tax control, governance, and process improvement initiatives, including digitalisation and automation projects within the tax function
Coordinate indirect tax audits, including data collection for tax authorities and leading voluntary disclosures or corrective returns (with external providers where required)
Review indirect tax reconciliations, investigate significant variances, ensure consistency across country filings, and perform periodic dummy VAT audits across EMEA
Provide periodic indirect tax training and guidance to Accounts Payable teams
Lead VAT law review initiatives, represent the Indirect Tax Team towards tax authorities and the business, and maintain technical knowledge through webinars and regional forums
What will you need to be successful?
5–8 years’ experience in an in‑house regional indirect tax environment, with at least 10 years of overall relevant professional experience
Strong indirect tax experience across one or more EMEA countries (UK, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden considered a benefit)
Fluency in English with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Solid understanding of governance, controls, and indirect tax compliance processes
Proactive, resilient, well‑organised team player with strong professional judgement
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive change in indirect tax compliance
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP), with exposure to S/4 implementation and tax digitalisation considered an advantage
Experience in a large / listed or international organisation and collaboration with offshore finance or processing centres (nice to have)
