We're looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer for a permanent position starting on August 1, 2026. If you're passionate about shaping the future of ICT, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Your tasks as Senior Lecturer include teaching of bachelor level ICT courses, these courses are chosen based on your expertise, guiding of thesis works, participating in degree program development and other academic tasks. You will continuously develop and maintain working life networks and your own competence. Additionally, you will engage in international and RDI activities. Together with your team, you actively participate in the planning, organization and development of ICT education and related activities. The detailed plan of the tasks is defined in an annual working time plan.
We offer a comfortable working environment and flexibility to work. Teaching takes place on the Kokkola campus and online, but assignments can also be on the Pietarsaari and Ylivieska campuses and in our global cooperation networks. In addition, we require willingness to travel. The working language is English. There will also be teaching at evening.
