About this role

The Local HR Manager serves as the Country Point of Contact (PoC) and the "social glue" of the national organization. Next to your role as local HR Manager, you are the HR lead for selected Benelux Pillars, the sparring partner for leadership and the direct manager of the local HR team. While the Benelux CHRO sets the strategy and regional policy, you ensure local execution is compliant and authentic. In your role as HR Lead for the Benelux Pillars, you ensure that the people strategy for your assigned business units is consistent across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Key Responsibilities Team Management & HRBP Development Direct Management: Act as the direct manager for local HRBPs, overseeing their daily activities and workload. Second-Line Escalation: You serve as the escalation point for complex local HR matters raised by any HRBP in that country, regardless of their pillar. Performance Accountability: Responsible for the overall performance of the local HRBP team. Annual Reviews: Execute the full performance cycle for HRBPs, including setting annual goals and conducting formal end-of-year reviews. Coaching & Mentoring: Provide ongoing guidance to HRBPs to help them navigate complex pillar-specific challenges. Escalation Support: Serve as the first point of escalation for HRBPs on complex labor law issues or high-risk cases. Local Governance & Compliance   Legal Primary Liaison: Act as the (primary) interface for the local works council.   Compliance Council: Represent the country in the "Local Compliance Council" alongside the BE compensation & benefits lead.   Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all HR policies adhere to specific national labor laws and alert the Benelux CHRO to any legislative changes. Occupational Health : Lead the partnership with local health services to drive effective absence management HR Pillar Lead Leadership Sparring: Partner with Pillar Directors to align regarding regional staffing with business strategy Strategic Partner: Ensure that the people strategy for your assigned pillars is consistent across Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Talent Management:  You drive regional talent frameworks, ensuring your assigned pillars are appropriately resourced with the high-performing talent needed to meet future business goals. Culture Translation: Adapt regional Benelux "Group" policies (e.g., D&I or well-being) so they feel authentic and relevant to the local workforce. Business lead: to the Pillar HRBPs assigned to your pillars. Talent Cycles: Drive the execution of the performance and salary review rounds to ensure quality and consistency across all pillars. Operational Excellence & Innovation Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation within your country (extending to the region), leveraging AI to increase productivity. Data-Driven Decision Making: You translate pillar-specific data (attrition, absenteeism, skill gaps) into action plans.

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree: Ideally in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or Labor Law 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or Senior HR Business Partner role IT Consulting Sector Experience  is highly valued Fluent in Dutch/French and a good command of English  Strong entrepreneurial spirit Passion for HR and people Excellent interpersonal skills as you will work closely with consultants, delivery and sales.
