About this role

This role is responsible for the seamless coordination and execution of day to day FSQA processes. Responsible for raising and escalating food safety and quality issues to ensure compliance with food safety standards and company processes. This role will provide support to the FSQA team with food safety and quality projects.

What You Will Be Doing:

Coordinate FSQA activities to ensure smooth collaboration and completion of daily tasks.

Serve as a central point of contact for FSQA queries and provide support to internal teams.

Escalation of quality and safety issues following the ICS process and ensuring correct communication to key stakeholders.

Leading or being involved in independent projects and tasks to ensure the site is compliant to food safety and quality standards.

Support the team to deliver training to ensure standards are adhered too.

Conduct routine processes such as, but not limited to temperature monitoring, extracting data from data loggers.

Maintain up to date and accurate records (including computerised/digital) on production, food safety data and analyse this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement

Identifying and leading continuous improvement processes.

Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained.

Undertaking basic problem solving activities and escalating to the Team Manager International DC FSQA where necessary.

Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.

Undertaking audits when required and following through on actions regarding compliance to Food Safety; Health & Safety Standards and any other specified standards eg: BRCGS, ISO.

Who You Are:

HACCP level 2

Food Safety level 2

Proven experience in a FSQA role within the food industry.

Experience in an auditing function

Proficiency in using Google sheets/ Google Slides for preparing/gathering data and presentation of data.

Strong in data manipulation

Strong knowledge of food production processes.

Knowledge around the audit process

Familiarity with food safety and quality standards

Strong verbal and written communication skills

HACCP and Food Safety level 3 qualifications would be desirable, but not necessary
