About this role

The team you'll be joining

At Doctolib, the Performance Marketing team is responsible for acquiring, converting, activating & engaging Healthcare Professionals across France, Italy and Germany, while reaching the best ROI. We're a team of 12 highly motivated people organized around 3 pillars: Website, CRM, and Paid Acquisition.

We work at the intersection of marketing, data and technology. We use modern tools (Braze, BigQuery, Amplitude, Claude Code) and we're in the middle of a full AI transformation — not as a buzzword, but as a real shift in how we work every day. If you like building things that matter, automating what slows teams down, and making data actually useful for business owners — you'll feel right at home.

Responsibilities

  • As a Digital Analytics & CRO Lead, you'll be the analytical backbone of the Performance Marketing team. You'll own our data and analytics strategy across website, CRM, and paid channels — and you'll build the tools, pipelines and automations that help the team move faster and smarter.
  • You'll work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Engagement, and our central Data team. Your impact will be direct and visible: every optimization, every targeting tool, every dashboard you ship will translate into better conversion rates, stronger campaigns, and a better experience for healthcare professionals.
  • Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • 1. Data & Analytics Infrastructure
  • Own and evolve our analytics stack (BigQuery, Amplitude, Metabase) — setup, configuration, maintenance, and documentation
  • Develop and maintain tracking plans ensuring data quality, reliability, and GDPR compliance
  • Build and maintain data pipelines in collaboration with the central Data team (GCP, Dagster)
  • Keep our Data Tag Management (DTM) up to date and create new ones as our tools evolve
  • Use AI agents — in particular Claude Code in VSCode — as a core working tool for writing SQL, generating documentation, and setting up new integrations
  • 2. Targeting & Segmentation
  • Design, build and maintain a scalable, maintainable targeting tool to power CRM and Paid campaigns across France, Italy and Germany
  • Enable Marketing, Product and Customer Engagement teams to target and monitor 100% of their actions with reliable, accessible data
  • Build audience segments, cohorts and scoring models directly from BigQuery
  • Create automated targeting tools and data-driven workflows for business owners across markets
  • 3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
  • Analyze website performance and user behavior to identify trends, opportunities and friction points across the Healthcare Professional acquisition journey
  • Design, implement and manage A/B tests across the full customer journey to optimize conversion rates
  • Develop and execute CRO strategies for our WordPress website in collaboration with the Website team
  • Measure and communicate the business impact of each optimization initiative
  • 4. Performance Reporting & Insights
  • Build and maintain automated dashboards for CRM, Paid and Website performance in Metabase (and Looker down the road)
  • Ensure consistency of metric definitions and calculation methodologies across all reporting
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Document everything you build — SQL queries, pipelines, tools — so the team can rely on it over time
  • Expected Impact
  • Measurable improvement in conversion rates on our website (CVR) and increased ROI of paid and CRM activations
  • A scalable targeting infrastructure that makes every campaign smarter and every euro better spent
  • A team that uses AI agents and data tools as a real daily habit, not a side project
  • Reliable, documented, and accessible data that business owners across FR, IT and DE can actually use
  • Who you are
  • Before you read on — if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply.
  • You could be our next team mate if you:
  • You are fluent in French and English; German is a strong plus
  • You have 4–7 years of experience in digital analytics, growth analytics, or CRO — in-house or consulting
  • You write complex SQL daily and are comfortable with BigQuery specifically (window functions, aggregations, large datasets)
  • You use AI coding tools — especially Claude Code within VSCode — as a real productivity lever, not just an experiment
  • You think in segments, cohorts and scoring models and know how to turn that thinking into a tool others can use
  • You have experience designing and running A/B tests and can translate results into business recommendations
  • You have a solid understanding of Performance Marketing channels: CRM (email, SMS, in-app), Paid (Meta, Google, TikTok), and website conversion
  • Now, it would be fantastic if:
  • You have hands-on experience with Amplitude (event taxonomy, tracking setup, funnels)
  • You use Python for scripting, automation, and data manipulation
  • You are familiar with GCP and Dagster for data pipeline orchestration
  • You have experience with Braze (segmentation, Canvas, content blocks) or WalkMe
  • You have worked with Metabase or Tableau to build automated dashboards
  • You have experience tracking Paid Media performance (attribution, tracking pixels, UTMs)
  • You have worked in a multi-country context (FR / IT / DE)
  • You have knowledge of GDPR compliance in a marketing data context
  • You have experience in healthtech or B2B SaaS
  • What makes you successful in this role:
  • Builder mindset: you don't just analyze — you build the thing that solves the problem, and you document it so the team can keep using it after you
  • AI-first: you use Claude Code, agents, and automation not because you're told to, but because it makes your work 10x better
  • Drive & autonomy: you own your projects end-to-end, from writing the SQL to shipping the dashboard to training the team on it
  • Clarity for non-techs: you can turn a BigQuery query into a story a business owner in France, Italy or Germany can act on
  • Data discipline: you care about data quality, consistent definitions, and documentation — because you know that bad data costs more than no data
