To enable this high-performance every team member enjoys full autonomy over their location (we’re remote-first).
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile App Engineer (f/m/x) to join our Trade-in Squad and take ownership of the mobile experience that enables customers to sell their devices back to refurbed. In this role, you will design and implement scalable, high-quality features in our React Native / Expo app, collaborating closely with backend engineers, product managers, designers, analysts, and external partners to deliver seamless, reliable, and high-performing Trade-in journeys. You will play a key role in shaping mobile architecture, ensuring clean boundaries between UI, state management, and integrations, while owning the operational health of your area, from crash reporting and performance monitoring to experimentation and analytics.
WHO YOU ARE
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in React Native / Expo
Strong expertise in TypeScript, React Native, and modern mobile architecture patterns (navigation, modularization, OTA updates)
Experience designing and implementing large features and fixing complex bugs in production apps
Proven experience leading the development of complex features within a squad, handling external dependencies (backend, vendors) and coordinating work with other engineers
Comfortable owning operations and monitoring for your area (crash reporting, performance, analytics, alerts)
Pragmatic: you can weigh short-term vs long-term trade-offs and choose solutions that fit the existing stack and business needs
Familiar with most parts of a modern product stack and how mobile interacts with backend, data, and experimentation systems
Able to communicate clearly in English and work effectively with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders
