We are seeking an energetic and collaborative person to join the R&D IT Research and Development Sciences (RaDS) Product organization. As a Product Analyst in the Composition of Matter – Develop & Make Product, you will be part of a team tasked with delivering digital capabilities that help scientists develop laboratory-scale processes and controls for various modalities of composition of matter (small molecules, peptides, conjugates, biologics, etc). This includes creating efficient foundational platforms needed to execute both in silico and physical lab experimentation, modeling, and analytics with high quality, frictionless dataflows to enable laboratory development and scale up.
The Product Analyst works on cross-functional teams that bring together science, technologies, capabilities, and talent to create products that deliver high impact business value, insight, and a fantastic user experience to scientists throughout the life cycle of the solution.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain assigned applications as technical owner throughout their lifecycles
Maintain a high level of relevant scientific & technology domain knowledge
Know the associated user base and their challenges as well as they do
Understand external landscape and make comparisons to make product decisions
Collaborate with Product Manager to establish goals and workplans
Execute assigned work in backlog & roadmap ranging from product discovery through product delivery and testing
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technology product development working with scientists OR professional scientific experience related to chemistry or biochemistry is considered to be a must
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent in a scientific discipline such as engineering, biology, or chemistry or a technical discipline such as computer science is preferred but not needed
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in matrixed environments, eagerness to learn, and drive for data-driven decision making
- Experience with Jira, Jira Align, OKR tools (e.g., Workboard), Confluence, and Agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban etc.) is preferred
