Responsibilities

  • Nebius is looking for a DC & IT Tools Development Lead to join the Hardware Infrastructure team. You are welcome to work in our Amsterdam office.
  • The team designs, develops and supports systems across the DCs lifecycle, including:
  • ITDC Terminal (a specialised task tracker used by local DC staff)
  • Test/Disposal WH stands (functional testing and decommissioning)
  • Logistics & Stocktage tools (asset intake, inventory, movements, and dispatch)
  • DC tools (maintenance for engineering and IT equipment in our DCs)
  • Your focus is to own the direction: architect systems, shape the roadmap, coordinate delivery with a neighbouring backend development group and lead stakeholder engagement. Hands-on work is welcome but not required.
  • Own architecture across the portfolio: target designs, system boundaries, interfaces and SLAs.
  • Define and maintain the systems roadmap: prioritisation, maturity, risks and success metrics.
  • Lead delivery with the development teams: backlog, release coordination, technical decision-making.
  • Drive product practices: discovery, requirements, RFC/ADR, design reviews and clear documentation.
  • Partner with stakeholders (DC operations, logistics/warehouse, testing/repairs, security, finance).
  • Proactively initiate improvements.
  • We expect you to have:
  • 7+ years in software engineering and/or technical leadership.
  • Strong engineering background with the ability to decompose complex systems and define clean interfaces.
  • Proven experience running multi-stream roadmaps and coordinating delivery across teams.
  • Solid requirements skills: stakeholder interviews, prioritisation, formalisation and pragmatic trade-offs.
  • Ability to produce clear RFCs/ADRs and high-quality technical documentation.
  • Working proficiency in English.
  • It would be an added bonus if you had:
  • Understanding of modern server hardware and DC infrastructure.
  • Strong networking knowledge and reliability practices for distributed systems.
