As a member of our Sales team, you will be at the forefront of driving our growth and expanding our global reach into new markets. Working in close partnership with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams, you will collaborate to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of our clients. About this opportunity We are seeking an exceptional sales professional based in Germany to establish and develop DeepL's presence in the Austrian market from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to build something meaningful in a market where we have minimal footprint. You will be the driving force behind our Austrian expansion, combining entrepreneurial spirit with deep market knowledge. Your responsibilities Pioneer our Austrian market entry : You will be at the forefront of DeepL's expansion into Austria, presenting our market-leading translation service to clients and helping them eliminate their language barriers Build from scratch : Establish our sales foundation in Austria, creating processes, relationships, and market presence where little currently exists Become a market expert : Develop deep knowledge of the Austrian business landscape, cultural nuances, and customer needs to position DeepL as the trusted solution Become an ambassador : Serve as an expert on DeepL's products and your customers' needs in order to troubleshoot and rapidly resolve inquiries Drive the full sales cycle : As a trusted partner to potential new business and incoming customers, you will qualify and convert leads and manage the entire sales cycle Exceed ambitious goals : Strive to meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue goals as we establish our market presence Build a robust pipeline : Develop a pipeline of new business, and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities Manage high-volume opportunities : Respond to inbound prospects and customers, managing a high volume of opportunities from qualification to close Track and forecast : Forecast and track all opportunity and customer details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps Collaborate across borders : Work closely with our diverse, international and welcoming teams from SDR to Marketing, coordinating across boarders Qualities we look for Entrepreneurial mindset : You love building from scratch and thrive in creating something new.
