About this role

App Development & Feature Implementation You collaborate closely with other engineers and designers to develop and enhance MyGroove’s cross-platform mobile app using React Native. You contribute to both frontend and backend, implementing new features, improving existing functionality, and ensuring modern, seamless experiences for our users.   Backend & Infrastructure Management You take ownership of backend services and infrastructure, working with technologies such as Node.js, serverless architectures, AWS, and GraphQL. You manage deployments, CI pipelines, and server configurations, ensuring stable, scalable, and high-performance systems that support the app’s functionality.   Code Quality & Collaboration You drive best practices in code collaboration, including code reviews, pull requests, issue tracking, and continuous integration. You identify, prioritize, and fix bugs across the app and backend services, maintaining reliability and high-quality standards throughout the MyGroove ecosystem.

5+ years of full stack development experience, with strong expertise in TypeScript, React Native, React Hooks, and state management libraries such as Zustand. Hands-on experience in backend and infrastructure management, including Node.js, serverless architectures, AWS, and GraphQL, with proven ability to manage deployments and CI/CD pipelines. Proven track record of building high-quality, scalable mobile applications, collaborating with designers and engineers to deliver modern, seamless user experiences. Strong knowledge of code collaboration workflows, including Git, GitHub, pull requests, code reviews, and issue tracking, with a focus on code quality, reliability, and maintainability. Self-organized, proactive, and adaptable, comfortable working remotely in a lean, agile startup environment with short iteration cycles and continuous team feedback. Strong affinity for music and musical learning, ideally with an interest in musical instruments or music education, and motivation to help build a product that inspires people to learn and play music.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.760 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
